Discovery Days

With your sponsorship of $1,500 in 2025, the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum will open our doors for one agreed upon day, in your honor, for a FREE DAY OF PLAY! Everyone is welcome to visit the museum and experience the wonderful exhibits and programs that we offer.

Our vision at MPDM is a world where “educational discovery enhances the life of EVERY child”, and Discovery Days helps us to do just that. When your business sponsors a Discovery Day, you are giving ALL children, regardless of their socioeconomic status, an opportunity to play and learn in our unique, hands-on environment.

Over 6,200 families have utilized our “Museums for All” program in 2024 . This program reduces admission costs for families with WIC/SNAP/EBT benefits.
MPDM sees nearly 50,000 visitors a year from Isabella, Gratiot, Midland, Clare, Mecosta, and Montcalm counties and beyond.
