In partnership with Chippewa Nature Center, Hoot hoot! Let’s explore what owls are up to in the winter months. We’ll look at the different parts of owls to see why they are so good at what they do, listen to owl calls, and learn about ways we can make owl-friendly spaces.
Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum and Chippewa Nature Center are excited to present a monthly club for young nature enthusiasts! Held monthly* on the third Wednesday, each gathering will include explorations, activities and a snack. Museum admission is required for all people, and the museum is open before and after the program to enjoy.

Reading helps to boost your imagination and creativity, makingyou the hero of your own story! Ready to dive in? Your next favorite book is just a page away!
MPDM "Book Tasting" is a great opportunity for kids ages 6ish-12ish to explore new books! This event will give kids a few minutes (per book) to "taste" a new book, up to 4 on their "tasting menu".
