Field Trips

General Information

Availability 

  • Field trips are available Monday through Friday 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. 

Cost 

  • Field trips 3 hours long or under cost $5 per student. Field trips longer than 3 hours cost $7.50 per student. 
  • One chaperone per 5 students will receive free admission. Additional adults paying with the field trip will receive the same admission rate as students. Adults paying separately must pay regular museum rates at $10. 
  • Field Trip rates are only available to groups that register as a field trip. 
  • If an accomanying adult has a membership to the museum, they are allowed to use that membership for free admission for themselves and children under the same membership. However, if a child has a membership but is NOT accompanied by an adult on the same membership, the child must be paid for by the school. 

Lunch at the Museum

  • Our community rooms are available for field trip groups who wish to bring their lunches.
  • Rooms must be reserved ahead of time, during the field trip booking process.
  • Field trip groups are welcome to use the museum lawn for a picnic lunch. 

Educational Presentations

  • Interactive presentations can be booked with your field trip at an additional cost. 
  •  Presentation Options: Bee Curious, Space Explorers, Introducing Nano Science, Sister City: Okaya Japan, All About Art, and the Water Cycle.
